Love and Marriage exhibit advertisement - old style print with black & white photo of married couple

The Provincial Archives of Alberta is pleased to present our newest exhibit Love and Marriage which features archival records that illuminate many historical aspects of love, marriage and social norms in Alberta.

Echoes of love and loss linger in the vaults of the Provincial Archives of Alberta. Love letters, photographs and even government documents recount stories of romance and separation. But sometimes it’s the absence of records that tell the real story.

Visit the Provincial Archives of Alberta during public hours to view the exhibit.

Admission is free.
