Ukrainian Archival Records at the Provincial Archives of Alberta: An Annotated Guide

In 2011, the 120th anniversary of Ukrainian settlement in Canada was celebrated throughout Canada. To commemorate this important event, the Provincial Archives of Alberta and the Friends of the Provincial Archives of Alberta Society joined forces to produce a publication in both Ukrainian and English.

An Administrative History of the Government of Alberta 1905-2005

This history draws on a number of resources available within the government, including departmental annual reports, secondary works, and various sources published by the Legislature Library. An Administrative History of the Government of Alberta is as complete and comprehensive as possible, based on these records and the information available to the staff team at the time of publication.

Alberta & the Great War: A Guide to First World War Records at the Provincial Archives of Alberta

This guide identifies records related to the First World War held at the Provincial Archives of Alberta. The records include several media such as textual records, photographs, books and film, and consist of government records and records created and/or collected by individuals, families or non-government organizations. Many of the records in this guide served as the basis for Alberta and the Great War, an exhibit mounted by the Provincial Archives of Alberta in 2014 to commemorate the centennial of the First World War.
